Help

Need some help? Hopefully what's on this page will get you started, but if you need something that isn't covered, or just to get in touch, email Richard Felix Jr. at help@waitable.com.

What is Waitable?

It's been said that the most useful web applications are those that solve a problem that the creator of the application has, and Waitable is definitely one of those. Products that I wanted to buy came out for prices that I knew would drop, and I'd leave tabs open in my browser or bookmark their pages and come back to them later on to see if the price had dropped to something I was willing to pay.

For example, video games come out for around $60, but I know that if I'm just patient I can eventually buy them for $20 or $30. Instead of watching their pages from time to time (and potentially missing when the price is dropped or forgetting about my bookmark altogether), I just put them in Waitable, forget about them, and when Waitable lets me know that the price has dropped, I buy whatever it was that Waitable was watching. It saves me a lot of time!

I use Waitable to keep all of my potential product buys in and I hope that you will find it useful too. Don't hesitate to email me at the email address above if you have any ideas, issues, concerns or comments.

How to use Waitable:

1. Find a product that you'd like to buy, whether you're walking around a brick-and-mortar store with your internet enabled cell phone (we especially like iPhones, but any will do!) or you're looking around online.

2. Sign up for an account and log in (using the link along the top of the website) or click the Just add some Products button, if you don't want to create an account.

3. Search for your product by UPC code or on Amazon.com only, and add it to your list. Instructions for each of those choices is below.

Search by UPC code
Search on Amazon.com only

If you're not adding a product directly from an Amazon.com page, you can just type its UPC into the left field on the Add/View Products page, enter the price you're willing to pay for the item and click Add Product.

Waitable will take you to a results page that shows you the lowest prices that it can find for you from more than 35 million products from over 88,000 stores across the internet. Pick the store you want to buy from, and either click Buy Now to immediately purchase the product if it's at or below the price you want to pay, or click Add to your list.

Waitable will find your product's information and add the product to your list. It will then notify you via email, RSS or even an text message to your cell phone if you've entered your phone number when the price drops to or below the amount you set.

If your product is on Amazon.com, either just copy and paste the website address for the product page (or just the ASIN) into the right field on the Add/View Products page, enter the price you're willing to pay for the item and click Add Product.

Waitable will find your product's information and add the product to your list. It will then notify you via email, RSS or even an text message to your cell phone if you've entered your phone number when the price drops to or below the amount you set.

Hint: If you have an account, at any time you can log in and see the current price of any product on your list. The product row will turn a darker shade of green if your product has dropped below the price you set.
